Graduate School Application Guide

Applications
  • Applications are received annually starting in mid-November for winter admissions process
  • Applications are received annually starting in mid-May for summer admissions process

Qualifications for Application
  • Any person who is a (prospective) graduate of a four-year college in Korea or abroad (※ a person holding any different major can apply)
  • Any person who is recognized under the law to hold either an identical or a higher academic degree (a person who has obtained an undergraduate degree under a credit bank or a self-undergraduate study program)
  • Any person who has 100% completed any foreign educational program corresponding to university education in Korea and is recognized to hold an academic degree equivalent to that of a university graduate
Entrance Procedure
  • Step 1Check an application guidebook.
  • Step 2Fill out an application form downloaded from the WDU homepage
  • Step 3Pay application fee
  • Step 4Fill out a self-introduction form and a study plan form
  • Step 5Submit required documents via mail or by visit
  • Step 6Announce the successful applicants of the 1st stage
  • Step 7Perform the 2nd in-depth interview.
  • Step 8Announce the successful final applicants
  • Step 9Pay tuition

Common
  • 1 copy of either a certificate of (prospective) graduation from university or a certificate of (prospective) degree from the university
  • 1 copy of an official university transcript
  • 1 photo (3cm x 4cm)
Foreign university graduate
  • 1 copy each of a certificate of graduation (completion) and its Korean translation (notarized by a legal firm)
  • 1 copy each of a transcript and its Korean translation (notarized by a legal firm)
  • 1 copy of an apostille certificate, an overseas school certificate or a certificate of degree
  • 1 photo (3cm x 4cm)

  • Submit via postal mail or by visit

  • Application fee: 50,000 won
  • Entrance fee: 800,000 won
  • Admission Fee: 3,000,000 won
